Daniel Meadows Wedding Photography, Serving Houston Couples in 2022 and Beyond

Houston TX – It’s been a while coming but I’m very proud to now be able to call myself a Houston Wedding Photographer! My wife Chelsea and I have been working on the move for some time now and as much as I’m going to miss our last home in Georgia I am so very, very excited to begin anew in Houston and serve Texas couples on their engagements and wedding days in the many, many beautiful venues here!

My photography journey has brought me a long way. I grew up in England with a wedding photographer father and a mother who worked in a photographic printing lab producing wedding albums, then spent the first ten years of my career in the commercial photography world before moving to the US just a couple of years ago to be with my wife in Savannah. I loved my new home a great deal, and I was blessed with the opportunity to shoot some of the most beautiful weddings and meaningful engagement sessions I could ever have hoped to be a part of.

In the short time I was there I was honored to be voted one of South Magazine‘s ‘Greatest Professional Photographers‘ and local magazine favorite Connect Savannah‘s ‘Best Wedding Photographer‘ in 2021. It is with great fondness that I will remember Savannah’s exceptional vendors and venues and I’m pleased to say that I will be returning to photograph a number of upcoming weddings and I’ll see many of them again soon!

But Houston is incredible. Truly the scale of the place, the grandness of its venues, the skill of its wedding vendors are all very, very exciting for someone keen to photograph the most beautiful weddings, the most dramatic engagement shoots and the most creative portraits. I feel like I will shoot my best work in Houston, Savannah gives a photographer some incredible gifts with its light and spaces but Houston, its surrounding areas and Texas in general, hold a magic I very much look forward to capturing.

Houston’s absolutely world-class luxury venues are host to some of the most elegant scenery I’ve seen anywhere in the world (and I’ve traveled a lot!). The parks are outstanding, and that skyline! Can you tell I’m excited to be in Houston yet?

Photographing wedding days is a gift of a job, it really is, and being surrounded by the best wedding venues and the most talented wedding vendors just makes the job so much more fulfilling. Knowing as a photographer that I’m supported in my goal to artfully preserve the day’s narrative by the creativity of great craftspeople, and by the proficiency of exceptional coordinators is invaluable.
